Frequently asked questions
Can I shrink a photo for a portal or application upload?
Yes. By setting the target size you can bring most images under the required KB/MB limit.
Is my image sent to a server?
No, all compression happens in your browser.
Does compression reduce quality?
Compression is lossy; the smaller the target size, the more quality may drop.
Which formats are supported?
Common image formats such as JPG, PNG and WebP are supported.
